On the meeting of Ambassador of Belarus in Germany D.Sidorenko with Prime Minister of the Federal State of Brandenburg D.Woidke

On February 6, 2017, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus in Germany Denis Sidorenko was received by the Prime Minister of the Federal State of Brandenburg Dietmar Woidke.

During the meeting the sides discussed ways of enhancing and expanding cooperation between Belarus and Brandenburg, especially in the spheres of trade, economy, science and technology.

It was agreed to make an inventory of existing joint projects, to work out  additional opportunities for contacts among business people and scientists of the two countries, to use more effectively twinning cities potential. In particular, the German Side proposed to establish cooperation between Belarusian scientific and practical institutions and Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam specializing in introduction of modern digital technologies in industrial production.

The Prime Minister of Brandenburg also highlighted the important role of Belarus in the region and in developing dialogue between the West and the East.
